A Bang for Your Buck! Hybrid Lenovo Laptop/Tablet

Lenovo IdeaPad U1 hybrid

This soon-to-be-available Ideapad U1 hybrid from Lenovo is definitely a purchase I will be making.
When connected, the hybrid appears to be a laptop that features an 11.6 inch screen.  However, the screen is detachable and serves a double, more travel-friendly purpose as a tablet.

The hybrid is due for Summer 2010 and is estimated to be priced starting at $999

When connected, the hybrid comes fully packed with Windows 7 Home Premium and an Intel Core 2 Duo processor.  I have always loved Lenovo computers because they are conducive to business and are very reliable.

When the hybrid is used as just a tablet, the device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon with Lenovo's Skylight Linux system.  It serves as a multi-touch slate with a storage size of 16GB.
I am definitely looking forward to the launch of this product, so I will make sure to keep all of you updated with a review!!

Take a peep at the hybrid.
